Project Control Engineer

Wood is currently hiring for Project Control Engineer to be based in client office in Abu Dhabi.   – Responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting the performances of the project toward meeting the project objectives in terms of cost, schedule, and controls – Lead the project controls team and ensure application of project control systems allowing project team to effectively plan and execute the project. TitleSenior Project Engineer

Wood is currently looking to recruit a Senior Project Engineer assigned responsibility for a portion of the Project scope which is aligned with the Project’s work breakdown structure and geographic distribution. The PE role is to manage the contract requirements for the assigned scope by ensuring the EPC contractor executes and delivers in compliance with HSE, Quality, Technical, Commercial and Schedule requirements. The PE role spans all execution phase activities from contract award through final acceptance and Project closeout. The PE resides mainly in the home office and when required the Contractor’s office and may move from the design site to the fabrication/construction/completion location(s) as the workface moves. This includes monitoring progress, ensuring appropriate reviews are conducted, managing change and preparing all contract correspondence related to the assigned scope. The PE is responsible for engaging discipline engineers and expert resources from the Project Team and functions as required to complete their work scope consistent with the Project Objectives. The PE is also responsible for maintaining and managing the risk and cost control engineers, engaging with discipline engineers from the Project Team for to interaction   – Promotes and champions the HSE goal of Zero Incidents; “Nobody Gets Hurt”. TitleQuantity Surveyor

Wood is currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to be deployed within a client Project Management Team in PMC capacity to assist in the management of a large EPC project which will be awarded in Q4 2018.   The successful candidate will be mobilised as of October 2018 and will initially be based in the client office in Abu Dhabi, UAE for few weeks before relocating to the successful EPC Contractor Home Office based in the UAE, India, Spain or Italy. TitleElectrical Designer

The Electrical Designer will be expected to apply engineering and design knowledge and experience to perform routine layout, design, and checking duties for petrochemical, chemical, refinery and LNG facilities through the various engineering work phases (i.e. studies, conceptual design, FEED packages, and detailed engineering). – In this role, the Electrical Designer will be checking diagrams, drawings, calculations (other than design and/or approved standards) for accuracy, completeness and/or conformance to flow or circuit diagrams or other approved design release documents, related data and coordination with other work. The designer will be expected to be able to check their own work for practicality from the standpoint of fabrication, installation or maintenance. – The Electrical Designer will also develop CAD drawings, designs and solutions for problems. Types of drawings include: One-line Diagrams; Grounding Drawings; Lighting Plan and detail drawings; Conduit and cable routing plan and detail drawings; Cable Tray Routing; Motor schematic and wiring diagrams; and panel drawings.
